I wish there was an exhibition of ripped posters of yore. It reminds me of the gig guides in the music papers. This one from 1970, among the famous and soon to be famous groups has Stonefeather with Marsha Hunt on congas and a Stewart Copeland (ex-Stark Naked) on drums.

I wonder if there’s an equivalent period in the late 60s when stars of the 40s like Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Liberace, Buddy Rich and Mel Torme etc made a similar update - fancy threads, toupee for the guys and groovy pop
