Federal employees are way too smart to take “a fork in the road” offered by known scammers

Feeling for my old friends at SSA faced with threats if they do not resign by February 6. Most are hopefully way too smart to do that. They should at least wait for a RIF or an actual buy-out that has some benefits. It is all a plan to privatize or eliminate almost all government agencies.

Next Monday in DC will suck. And it’ll get worse and more surreal from there.
But NO ONE is irrelevant. EVERYONE deserves equity & inclusion & a real voice.
So we fight on.

2nd cataract surgery and my old glasses are now useless. Don’t need them for close up and they don’t help with distance any more. So I have foresight now and when I get a new prescription I will be able to see farther. Future is scary though

Cataract surgery on my other eye today. I am not as nervous as I know pretty much how it will be, but I also know what the recovery period is like and am not looking forward to that. Sometimes, when bad things are looming, the not-knowing can be a comfort. Stay safe and be well, my beloveds.

Attended an interfaith meeting last night. Gave me some hope. We aren’t alone. It was good to pray together all of us knowing that we will need more than prayer in the coming days
