I am fervently hoping that - eventually - the Epstein files act as a much needed enema to get rid of all the disgusting, corrupt politicians clogging up our country. There are a lot of them on both sides, and I hope they all go to prison.

Agreed. We have democrats who are willing to fight. Schumer and others like him need to get out of the way. But their too busy making money off the way things currently are to step aside.

Let's hope that we get enough of a surge in the democratic party to change the top leadership to those who will fight. ig depends on how many of them are in the Epstein files.

That's the only silver lining I see in this whole mess. We had gotten complacent as a nation and needed reform, but it wasn't going to happen until things got very bad. Hopefully now, when the time finally comes, real change will happen. But it's going to be a rough ride until then. 😣

- elimination of the electoral college
- enforceable code of ethics for SCOTUS
- term limits in Congress
- abolishment/limitations on POTUS pardons
- mandatory tax and health disclosures for POTUS
- Insider trading laws for congress/POTUS/SCOTUS

We need to at least be forcing the choice and laying out alternatives, or at MINIMUM voicing a clear protest even if we don't win right now.

Only people of privilege can afford to sit around and wait for some mythical perfect plan or white night to enter the field.

History has shown that eventually, fascist regimes fall. We need the names of the people who are driving this to be clear. If everyone just rolls over and shows no dissent, then the downslide just happens faster.

Name me one resistance in history that ever won by people sitting around waiting for a perfect "Master Plan" before taking action. Complacent bystanders are just as much of the problem as those who are engaged in the authoritarian takeover. The first part of the "plan" is not to comply in advance.

Let's hope that this is (finally) the straw that makes the dems change leadership. We need this to happen before the midterms. Otherwise, the blue tsunami will happen and the cowardly assholes like Schumer will just ignore all the treason and law-breaking like they did the last time.

It really better be. I am so furious right now at the utter lack of leadership. There are amazing people in the democratic party right now and people like Schumer need to get out of the fucking way and let real leaders lead.
