RIP Alasdair MacIntyre. I will be re-reading After Virtue, 3 Rival Versions and Dependent Rational Animals til I die. My first book emerged out of this passage I read in After Virtue. There I found the language to criticize our obsession with growth and a framework for a better approach to mission.

The spiritual senses are a major theme in scripture that is unaddressed in many Biblical overviews. I include this sidebar in Four Mountains @lexhampress.com to introduce the topic.
