American. Also Canadian, and feeling more so every day. Lover of things with six strings. Cancer survivor. Not religious. Lifelong Democrat because modern Republicans embrace fascism. Everybody be nice to each other, m'kay?
Don't hate me...I was just a young man, trying to make a living in my chosen field!

I now deeply regret the "Teddy and the Electric Fence" story, that one never should have left the edit bay.

I'm willing to throw the dijon mustard incident in with the tan suit scandal, to sweeten the pot.

As someone who once recorded and edited the voice "stories" for Teddy Ruxpin, this invokes all kinds of complex emotions. I feel somehow complicit, knowing that Teddy has since evolved and now writes his own stories.

This is the background I always use.

I too, never skip glute-day. But I like to mix up my fitness regimen...leather chair, upholstered sofa, wooden barstool, etc. Beanbag chair in my younger days.

He knows that. I mean, the word was spread around.

Remind me of the time Groucho Marx shot an elephant in his pajamas. How he got in his pajamas, I'll never know...

Just pull the string on her back and the mechanism inside will play the recorded message.

So much edgier than his early work, when he primarily addressed violence, addiction, mental health struggles and societal failings.

Do some Republicans think this is finally an opportunity to destroy Trump's stranglehold on their party? Or do they fear the midterms more than they fear the orange sociopath? There has to be a motive and I refuse to believe the entire wretched party decided to behave ethically, in unison.

There is no bottom, no limit to the depths of said depravity. He's quite literally a sociopath with absolutely no concept of right and wrong. He's not wired for it.

Right?!? 🤔

We enjoyed this plate at a little sidewalk cafe in the shadow of the Colosseum.

I blame the auto engineers who build a GPS system into a car (a source of uber-accurate, satellite disciplined time information) yet still expect me to set the clock by holding down little buttons in precise sequences and durations. Usually in traffic.

Agreed. Even worse, he's suggesting he's somehow a victim. The poor thing, marked for life by an atrocity, one that in his mind is a "minor" one. (Pun not intended, but eff it.) He should feel shame when recalls the event, instead he feels persecuted.

She'll eventually grow weary of male perfection and start looking around for something aging and markedly in decline. I'm playing the long game.

With the ladybug's full consent, I assume.

Cool. Kind of a raw deal for the worms though. 🪱

Graphics are a crutch for people who lack side-eye skills.

Hmm. Gosh, it's hard to pick just one.

Are you getting enough fiber in your diet? Remember to stay hydrated.

Choose carefully.

If you have questions about any treatments prescribed, do ask. Somebody here will be able to fill you in from the perspective of a patient, it's often much different than the perspective of a doctor.

I'm sorry man. I know exactly how it feels to receive such news. If you haven't already, do seek a second opinion...the diagnosis may change but the prognosis may. My 1st oncologist told me it was incurable. Then I went to City of Hope and they said "Let's fix this."
