when i got home after watching @jamesnokise.bsky.social my suburb caversham was unusually awash in sea-spray-air, a light haze over the valley created by the motorway, and at my back yard i looked into the purple clouds opposite the sunset, sniffing at the air like my cat does in the mornings.

just finished a short session, training a new colleague on how to use our invoicing system, over teams which went very well and it felt good to teach someone something, even something so dry and blech as "how to create a new insurance bill". i think the sunshine and hump-day of it all helped.

spent the day at the tattoo studio. sweet apprentice worked on me for about 6 hours 🫠 he's doing a great job with his development. we gotta support our artists!

lil tauhou just headslammed himself into the dining room window. poor lil feller was so confused, sitting on the balcony holding onto his own wing for dear life. i had to pick him up, extract wing from foot, and release gently. tiny angel weighed nothing! very strong feet. love our manu!

haha i have another tattoo appointment tomorrow haha my skin must hate me. although, i do treat it to the badass korean skincare when i'm not blasting it with needles...

something like 20ish years ago i got one of those little turquoise plastic spoons they used to give you with your coffee/tea on airNZ flights, and it was so cute i kept it. it was my scooping-weed-into-a-cone-or-joint spoon this whole time until i broke it earlier in the year. miss u tiny spoon! 🥄
