When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

One way that anti-feminism has been conceptually collapsed into a stand-in for all other political grievances is through the feminization of the state, which is cast as a scolding mommy for doing things like requiring milk pasteurization.

I wasn't out today because our rally was cancelled and there were multiple "water features" at home to attend to, but 100 or so showed up in our small ruby red town at the courthouse anyhow, with the Ohio creeping up behind. That's a good sign, y'all!
