Playing with the ANES 2016-2020-2024 panel, looking at presidential vote choice overtime. Hard to figure out what to do with missingness and what weights to use.

This addendum from the author is almost as important as the rest of the text.

Referring to Trump's post on Truth Social as a "compromise" is some real sane washing.

Trump is going to end up demanding that we nationalize health insurance companies and everyone is going to snap

I did not know this man so looked him up. He seems to have believed NYC already collapsed like 25 years ago so I'm not sure why he is acting like things are going to change for the worse.

Wait so Mario Cuomo lost a Democratic primary for mayor then ran in the general election and lost by almost the exact same margin as Andrew Cuomo?

Thirdway has a memo out about how Mamdani's politics won't work in the rest of the country but they wrote it before he won and forgot to replace "X%" with his actual margin. lol.

Second post on this but it seems like they skipped over that "detecting AI work" was also what teachers needed. link.springer.com/article/10.1...

I do enjoy that elementary school teachers are not concerned with detecting AI work.

Also the most common response to What do you need to learn about AI was "I have no idea"

I found the article referenced (which the author could have cited directly but didn't). Teachers biggest concern with AI use is student over reliance on it.

If you are wondering if the madonna-whore dichotomy still resonates I just found this on reddit

If you have more than $3,000 in a savings account you literally wouldn't be able to get SNAP benefits in Louisiana (unless you are in some exempt groups)

This is an interesting question and shows clear differences between Trump voters (here) and Harris voters (in the quoted post): Trump voters see much more overlap between them and Trump than Harris voters saw between them and Harris

I can answer my own question and my suspicious was correct. Trump supporters were much more likely to select the circles with moreoverlap.
