@wheeler.bsky.social do you need a reason to acquire more pokemon cards?!

Grats!

FYI: Canlander is the 100-card-baller format out here.

It took a few hours to sort out the print runs, but pack creation is fairly quick once done.

Was hoping to find the source file. ... but just found pictures. Pack has rarity slots, slots are populated by taking a sheet and adding cards in sequence.

Here is an example of some packs, and the "Common 2 (COM2) sheet.

Print runs are sick. I maintained them for my first "Fantasy set" and balanced the table meta of commons/uncommons somewhat just through that design knob.

Sometimes, print runs are wild. Don't recall the set, but think it was 2010s era that had two sick black uncommons side-by-side on sheet.

they are huge for retro pokemon, to the point where a format is referred to as "Hare2" (Hareyuya2 is the Pokemon line of stores AFAIU).

fucking Saitou lol

I don't know if he is planning on going, but I have been eyeing it!

no worries! I requested but his response was not the confirmation for which I hoped. 😅 He figures the main event will probably eat most of his time.

A friend that loves IPA draft will be in attendance. I have asked him to draft your remaster!

(I am building something similar and want the insights. 😻)

Rarely log into MTGO to play cubes (but a sick, creative design likely gets me playing once with my dwindling play points). Was heavily enfranchised ~10 years ago.

Not enough high-profile #mtgweird mindset to expose masses to other cube experiences... & not sure how Daybreak runs Cube events now.

Pokemon 1999's KRILLMEAT has a great site for those interested in playing this unique, incredibly fun format: krillmeat.club/pkmn-card-ma...

The format reduces the level of impact of Base-Neo’s strongest cards/strategies and slows down games so that players can explore other combinations.
