Wrote a quick intro to WotC GLC (Gym Leader Challenge for Base-Skyridge Pokemon TCG). Format didn't exist in 2003, but it could've! It's a great way to enjoy playing with many Mon that are not viable in more widely played retro formats.

Was hoping to find the source file. ... but just found pictures. Pack has rarity slots, slots are populated by taking a sheet and adding cards in sequence.

Control can be board-based or countermagic-based. Card advantage has many tools: Aeon Chronicler, Compulsive Research, Damnation, and others. #mtgweird

And in Prop 15/3 (Base-Gym), Alakazam and Trainer disruption is opening more room for Muk to shine. Dark Vileplume with Alakazam has proven to be extra nasty (and players are looking for ways to counter it in the mid-to-late game... without Trainer usage).

In RAV-TSP-10E Standard, I recall the fear of Dredge, but Peebles-Mundy's take on the deck is monstrous! I think I need to retool all of my decks to have a serious plan after boarding (and some more main deck answers).

I enjoy curating stacks for perusal. This has been around my desk since 2XM/STX (whichever is more recent).

Drafted 14 3x3 grids of www.cubecobra.com/cube/list/in... #mtgcube this week. Might be best to go to 16, but 14 has scrappy enjoyment.

Also built two retro Pokemon TCG Base-Fossil for playing without sleeves versus each other 😅😅 wigglytuff dodrio versus lickitung stall (with some spicy edits)! I think this uses up moat of my spare DCE, Scoop Ups and Item Finders... #retropokemontcg

Been working on a 1v1 cube with 3x Meddling Mage since 2015. Through 5 major changes in design, only the last few years have cards been made giving me desired support for the included synergies. NEO, ONE, MH3, and even DFT have added lower-powered cards to fill multiple roles. (2/2)

Been working on a 1v1 cube with 3x Meddling Mage since 2015. Through 5 major changes in design, only the last few years have cards been made giving me desired support for the included synergies. NEO, ONE, MH3, and even DFT have added lower-powered cards to fill multiple roles. (2/2)
I am thinking to play the Chaos Gym Alakazam list or Rain Dance next Prop 15/3 league if I can get them to win a little (just like 40/60!) against Lightning-Fighting. Had some inspiration and need to test more w/ Blastoise going back to Jason's blog Computer Error approach. #retropokemontcg
