The teachers at my middle school put on a concert where they played through a diverse set of 80s hits. I learned a lot about the needs of the school by going to this. I had no idea that ten families were homeless and relied on laundry and food services from the school. #EcksteinMiddleSchool #Seattle

When I was a student there they wrote an article about it in @rollingstone.com and it ended up on the news @kiro7seattle.bsky.social.

Whenever I think about the five albums that will be a part of Pedro the Lion's (@pedrothelion.bsky.social ) five album pentalogy I keep thinking of this Smashing Pumpkins boxset that had the five discs in a box with a booklet. A pretty fun concept! A later bought the re-issue box of this in 2012.

This is a collection of yearbooks I got to help me reflect on the 1990s. This general idea influenced me to make an interactive book on growing up years: @learningtowalkagain.life That project isn't based on any era in particular just the experience of growing up and what matters at that time.
