I wasted money on a month of Live because it was giving us the wrong directions, and it had NO REASON to even error for us since apparently it works FINE if you just unhook the Xbox from the internet. Their online stuff is just a mess, especially compared to the other big names

Xbox Live or whatever they're calling it now is the WORST thing. I wanted to play CoD2 from the 360 with my brothers couch coop, but it kept telling us we needed Live, so I bought a month. Still not working even if they used guest accounts. The solution? Disconnect from the internet completely. Why.

I mean, I was sort of figuring 650 or so just as a guess, so 700 still feels reasonable. Honestly I'm mostly impressed I was able to get pretty close to actually informed folks lol

I can attest to the fact that it's very nice and has become my primary way to play PC stuff. Now, I'm not playing (I assume) hyper intense stuff like the new CoD or BF6, but it runs other modern stuff fine. If you like tinkering with stuff you'll get the best performance out of it

And every collection always uses the PS1 version, so the exclusive content to the Saturn hasn't been available elsewhere. Years ago I took a gamble on an untested copy of this and X4 on Saturn for cheap. So disappointed when they both showed up with disc rot, but X4 DID work, so not a total loss.

Don't forget that currently, there's an issue that desyncs the screens, so DS games like Sonic Rush are not super playable. Any Drastic is really your only decent DS emulator on this thing.

Still have mine from launch day and I still live it, though the New 3DS XL is REALLY nice in comparison. Side note, part of me is driven nuts by the fact that the renders show the circlepad as the same color as the shell, but that was never in the final product, only the E3 models.

I always think posts like this are funny when I've never played any game involved. I just sit there and nod like "ah yes, I see"
a man in a blue shirt is standing in front of a computer monitor .
Alt: Bones and Kirk from Star Trek nodding at each other.

Not to mention, I believe Valve would 100% sell at more of a loss than any other company when it comes to hardware. Giving people a new reason to buy Steam games is an easy way to make back any losses.

Oh heck yeah! I loved these things! The little robot dudes were so cool

It does make sense, but the issue is that GCKs are just a digital copy with extra restrictions. Cost is the same for us but you don't get anything different than just putting the code in a box. They should just do a normal game card if they want the ease of gifting without the issues of downloads
November 11, 2025 at 4:39 PM
Yes and no. This is already filled by those "gift cards" you see in store that are a download for a game. Those are the same purpose, less waste, and you don't need a cart in the system. GKCs require you to have the cartridge. It's a physical restriction without the space saving benefit.

I know this isn't what happened, but I'm laughing at the idea of someone on the team just being fed up with the leaks from deodorant and cookies and just being like "Ok, FINE. Trailer tomorrow. I don't care anymore"

Unrelated, but don't forget you can extend her legs at the knee! They pop out of place and slide down till they click into position. You can see in this pick that the pink knee parts slide down a groove until they're (slightly) more centered in the legs.

Does this only occur in the HD version, or is it also misaligned in the original?

But as it was at the time, it really only serves as a tech demo with a collection of general platforming levels. I love it for how strange it looks, but if it was ever completed I feel like it would have ended up in a different direction by release.

Honestly, after playing the basic prototypes that have been uncovered, I feel like it could have been good if it were given a proper team and much more time. I think if they dropped or toned down the fisheye lense it could have had legs after some more cohesive direction.

Honestly, I'm not sure that it's just age. Looking at the Amazon listing, he was always that weird, yellowish ivory color.

I love when games do stuff like this. Reminds me of the DS where a bunch of titles have those initials in the title (Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow for example).

I believe it means they have a deal to produce the toys, but Disney needs to approve every step of the way, so the digital renders they showed here may get changes once they make test shots and Disney takes a look. If they don't like a face sculpt for example and Hasbro needs to adjust it a bit.

Always remember to take the SD card out BEFORE taking off the shell
