Unrelated, but don't forget you can extend her legs at the knee! They pop out of place and slide down till they click into position. You can see in this pick that the pink knee parts slide down a groove until they're (slightly) more centered in the legs.

Honestly, I'm not sure that it's just age. Looking at the Amazon listing, he was always that weird, yellowish ivory color.

We've got Princess Haley on vocals, Quasar on laser guitar, Admiral Oort on keyboard, and Ozone on drums. They came from an underground city in the Moon to Earth so that they could get on MTV! Their designs have so much personality!

Man, I was digging through YouTube late and found my new favorite thing lol. If you know the old Rock-afire Explosion animatronics, these are their cooler, space themed cousins, The Moonrockers! They were meant to be a retrofit for them and never actually sold, but these characters are awesome!

Whoa, any idea what's happening here? Looks like a missing panel or something

Ok, this may be coping hard, but we are at a NON-ZERO CHANCE of getting an official release of Dragon Hopper now. The Virtual Boy Switch app needs titles to help fill it out, (iirc) Nintendo owns the rights to the game, and they did this with Star Fox 2 on SNES... I can hope lol

Lol I had a Jerma stream going and it lined up exactly with your post

In other news, Nintendo is investigating a controversial Easter egg in Donkey Kong Country 2 where a trash can with Sonic's shoes and Earthworm Jim's blaster may be seen as a jab at other platformers.

Sonic was quoted as saying it was "not way past cool".

It's been fixed!

Went to a local Target the other day, and currently they have a Switch 2 and PS5 kiosk set up. Before the S2, they had an S1 kiosk and a smaller second kiosk for the Lite and OLED models (before that the smaller section was a 3DS and 3DS XL kiosk). The S2 kiosk was off, maybe waiting for an update.

Back in the day all of the big three had displays, sometimes right next to eachother, in every store that had games. Target, Walmart, BestBuy, ToysRUs, KMart, you name it. Not to mention the McDonalds Play Place kiosks in every decently sized McDs.

I saw this mentioned somewhere else, but I think they may have printed the ad with a layer turned on in the Photoshop file that they didn't mean to have on. This portion has some extra "banner" behind the "out now" portion. Maybe it was meant to say "2025" on this smaller bit?

It seems that this guy is being made real soon! The collectors edition for Sonic Racing Crosswords comes with a physical "Sonic Rear View Mirror Dangler", and looking at the proportions I think he's based off this little guy!

I like how they clearly wanted the guy to have more detail than the game was capable of, but it was 1997 so CGI was still jank, so we end up with this dude

Random Game Saturday! I was out looking for a Switch 2 Thursday since Target is so slow getting mine to me. No Switch 2 yet, but I did come across a complete copy of Cyber Troopers Virtual-On for $25! 100% worth the trip

(Also, I always read it as Virtual On: Cyber Troopers. Anyone else?)

I love that the western aux. media for Sonic wasn't "accurate" but all put MASSIVE effort into what it did. SatAM and AoStH both tried super hard at their own thing, and gave us some of the most memorable designs and characters for both a more serious Sonic and a more cartoon version.

As someone dealing with Target

Side note; anyone who got Nintendo Power in the 2000's must have seen this ad a million times. No joke.

Man, I miss ads like this. Print magazine advertising is a really unfortunate casualty of print media becoming less popular. I remember so many comic books and magazines with great full page ads like this. Some were weird, strange, or even bad, but they were definitely memorable.

Not to mention stuff that was accidentally put in the "do not ship" folder in the next to last update. Playable Wicked Witch was the most interesting thing IMO. (I think this was removed after it got out there though, so you can't get this in the final game anymore AFAIK)

Fingers crossed this is us on the 5th

Hey, I'm a defender of both 32X and Saturn, but I feel like I can disprove the title in two images. (Both are from 1996).

Same! Mine has these little Switch 2 tags too
