I learned so much, and I'll truly miss our special atmosphere and energy. Working with you all has been a real honor. Thank you for everything!

I wish everyone at JetBrains the very best of luck and all the success, both professionally and personally.

Is having two identical high-spec Macs overkill, or does it make sense? What potential hurdles should I expect switching from Windows and running this dual setup? Any advice or experiences to share?

But here’s the twist: I caught myself wanting the exact same powerful setup for home! I'm just done with compromises and the overheating/throttling issues I've faced with previous laptops.

The work machine is sorted: a 14" MacBook Pro with the M4 Max (16c CPU/40c GPU), 64GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. A real powerhouse.

I've also wanted separate work and personal machines for ages. To test the waters, I've borrowed my daughter's MacBook for the week and am getting acquainted with macOS.

Part of it is a desire for change – call it tech therapy! It also helps that I'm moving to a Mac for work soon, so it feels like the right time to embrace a new ecosystem.

Yes, it added #Python to my build pipeline, but totally worth it! 😉

Anyway, strata can also be used as a standalone tool – see the releases on GitHub.
