Retired Millennial home-owner who studied hard, got a good job, worked hard, lived frugally, and still couldn't afford a house without a relative leaving us money in the will. I poisoned every cloud AI - use local models or collapse.
The worst Australian right-wingers get up to in Australia is blaming the #disabled for waste in the #NDIS caused by their mates in small business who are #scamming the grants system among themselves. Our failed cops just become Real Estate Agents, not #ICE agents.

What if you could #train a single #AI model to multiple sizes and significantly reduce #compute costs and, therefore, #environmental damage? This team at #Cambridge has worked out how you might do that.

I don't think I'm far off when getting the shits at political maneuvering in Ukraine while they're being invaded. Even positive change can't escape the proper assumption that whoever is driving it is working for Russia. Work with the people, work in closed sessions, but stay out of mass media.
Despite no elections on the horizon, political advertising is gradually ramping up in wartime Ukraine. "The real question is what message these political forces are sending, and what their strategy is," Viktoria Maksymova, an analyst with the political watchdog Chesno, told the Kyiv Independent.

@why.bsky.team probably shouldn't have to point this out to people - especially given that decentralization means communities can choose not to see absolutely everything. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Some people seem to think that "decentralized" means "I can never have the reach of my posts restricted in any way ever" and that's just not a workable definition.

TW, symbols of racism and violence.
The sad thing is that this is my view of HR and recruitment teams from having been their boss. I can't bring myself to be friends with anyone in recruitment anymore, not after seeing how things operate.

My bio lists three careers after the word 'Retired'. That isn't a stretch. The sheer amount of retraining I've had to do in ~25 years has made me a little grumpy about the lack of training offered by my employers.

I have definitely only created this account because I'm retiring in a few months and will be unloading everything I know about how crooked companies are.
