New Zealand journalist now based in London. Travel manic and football tragic. All views are my own
PSG just too good. D Although the thing that angers me most is this sad obsession with Arsenal failing. I get tribalism, but if you just hate Arsenal because it’s trendy, that’s truly pathetic.

Not over yet in the Champions League. I’m gassed with that result now and we are in a great position, but the Bernabeu will be tough.

To take a page out of Susie Dent’s book, today’s word of the day is: Kakistocracy - a government run by the most unsuitable and incompetent citizens. Which is getting proven more and more right each day I watch this latest US administration.

I’m surprised Zelenskyy didn’t leave the White House with bruised fists from what I’m reading. Trump and Vance really showed their true colours today. I’m not surprised this was going to happen but I am surprised and disgusted at the extent it went to.

Safe to say Arsenal’s title bid is over. Injuries, fatigue, lack of investment in forwards and in some cases refereeing have killed us. I hate the Netflix FC jokes but we have to write this season off, focus on the UCL and go harder next year.

Tomorrow’s UK front pages are tearing Trump apart.

Two of these are right-wing newspapers.

“Trump appals world”, “Shameful Trump” and “Deranged Trump”

This is insane. Musk, the world's richest man, owner of the most influential political messaging platform, and a de facto government member and top ally to the president, is accusing a journalist of being a criminal, because she reported on one of his racist DOGE staffers. This is fascist behavior.

I used to dream of Arsenal dominating Pep Guardiola’s City like this. After all the torment they gave us for years the dopamine hit from this performance is incredible

PGMOL needs to be scrapped if that’s a red card for Arsenal and yellow for another team. Michael Oliver especially needs to go

Elon Musk doing a Nazi salute just proved everyone who left his cesspool of a social media platform was right.

Finally can go on BlueSky and say North London is Red and always will be

Safe to say I’ve written our season off. Poor investment up front, no depth in the squad, first team tired and too many injuries to critical players. Ready to hit the reset button.

Classic Arsenal vs Brighton game. We didn’t look great I’ll admit, but only way Brighton could get within a sniff of us is by having Anthony Taylor as their 12th man.

Utterly relentless from Littler. Scary that he’s still got many more years to go in the professional game as well.

Everyone hating on Liam Lawson just for a decision he didn’t make. All organisational decisions. But to all those fans crying out justice for Yuki, Checo, etc.: cry more.

Critical win on a night when Liverpool finally dropped points. Don’t care if our second was the kind of goal I’d score in Sunday league - a win is a win. Especially over them lot

I think it speaks volumes that right wingers criticize bluesky for being “liberal” and “left wing”, when it’s really just that hate speech isn’t allowed.

I know the app is still in its infancy, but I must admit I miss the full experience Twitter gave when watching football. Hopefully more of the FT community and clubs will see the light soon to rectify that but it can’t come soon enough

Yeah this is much nicer than that cesspool. Hopefully more will see the light soon.
