Any senator who consented to people responsible for our national security based primarily their willingness to kiss the presidents ring should be held accountable the next time they run for election.

US is also now breaching the Budapest Memorandum as well. Did anyone really expect a convicted felon to abide by any agreements or social norms?

In Washington’s 1796 Farewell Address he warned against the dangers of political parties fearing people would put party above country. How prescient his warning proved to be. Even more dangerous is when that party elects unscrupulous sycophants willing to cowtow to a convicted felon.
