Senators who voted for the clowns responsible for our national security based primarily on their willingness to kiss the King’s ring should not be surprised by their incompetence and should be held accountable the next time they are up for election.

Sir Winston Churchill’s once said “As long as the United States and Great Britain are united, the future is one of high hopes, both for ourselves and the free world.” Hopefully our leaders will be mindful of how prescient this declaration has been for the past 75 years.

Trump’s reversal of his decision on tariffs has so little thought put into it that he has to reverse it two days later. This is no way to run a country as great as the United States was prior to his Presidency.

Budapest Memorandum prohibited Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom from threatening or using military force or economic coercion against Ukraine in exchange for giving up their nuclear weapons. Given Russia’s breach of it why would anyone think they would abide by a new agreement?

When one thinks about how many brave men an women have risked and given their lives to protect our democracy in comparison to the GOP senators and representatives that won't even risk being primaried to stand up for democracy it saddens me even more for those who have sacrificed so much.

In Washington’s 1796 Farewell Address he warned against the dangers of political parties fearing people would put party above country. How prescient his warning proved to be. Even more dangerous is when that party elects unscrupulous sycophants willing to cowtow to a convicted felon.
