How to collapse an authoritarian regime in about 6 months *Secure data before engaging in activism (tor/onion browser, encrypted email, burner email, encrypted messaging and PW manager, don’t save anything sensitive to cloud)* Phase 1: Mass protests and boycotts — test the waters, build local, national, and international class solidarity; *already happening* Phase 2: Wildcat strikes and rolling disruptions — Disrupt business as usual (sabotage/direct action); begin within weeks - block key infrastructure - clog system with calls, mail, emails, and fake documents - disrupt key industries and regime power structures - refuse to normalize repression and oppression - counter-propaganda - rolling protests and strikes Phase 3: Mass noncompliance (Rent and debt strikes, work stoppages, tax boycott, disobey unconstitutional and unjust laws, etc.) — grind system to a halt; within 1-2 months Phase 4: Parallel systems and defense networks — Make the state irrelevant (shadow government, worker co-opts, community support and resource networks, crowdfunding, community security, etc.); within 2 to 3 months Phase 5: Regime Collapse Get creative. The point is to create as much sustained confusion and disorder as possible in an organized fashion. Sand in the gears. No violence.

A rapid power grab increases the risk of failure for authoritarianism because: 1. People recognize the threat sooner. 2. Institutions may resist. 3. The working class and youth radicalize faster. 4. Global reactions (backlash) can weaken them. A slower rise to authoritarianism is more successful because people don’t realize it until it’s too late, whereas a rapid escalation of repression makes it hard for the regime to justify it as normal, thereby causing a mass uprising. The ruling class may try to avoid this through: 1. Legal manipulation. 2. Disinformation campaigns. 3. Controlled economic collapse. 4. Militarizing the police. The next graphic explains how to stop Authoritarianism. What can be done to stop authoritarianism? 1. Expose the strategy early—if people recognize how the ruling class operates, they can resist before it’s too late. 2. Organize across class lines—do not allow politics or culture war issues to divide you. Workers, students, and marginalized groups must build solidarity and avoid infighting at all costs. 3. Use disruption tactics—mass strikes, protests, boycotts, and direct action can slow down authoritarian consolidation. Disrupt, disrupt, disrupt. Avoid violence. 4. International Solidarity—alliances with global movements can weaken the power of the ruling class. Expand the movement globally to increase pressure. Global coordinated protests, boycotts, etc. are key. If the ruling class tries to rush into full-blown authoritarianism too fast, they risk collapsing their own system before they can fully secure power. Their best hope of success is to drag it out slowly. The faster they move, the more opportunities the people have to fight back and win.
