When I am to do something for pleasure, a clean space is a pre requisite. Some drawing, painting and reading to follow after creating this space for myself.

When I am to do something for pleasure, a clean space is a pre requisite. Some drawing, painting and reading to follow after creating this space for myself.
I paint and dance (not expert at all) but just to have that pleasure in existence. I do these as a side heck while chasing deadlines to pay bills.
I really need to get better at finding pleasure in being alive and simply existing, rather than constantly thinking "If I can just get through this ordeal..." and "If I can just get past that deadline..." Then what? The next ordeal or deadline, and repeat, until death?

As I approach the end of the year & as teaching slows down, it’s time to re-charge & invest in the self. Starting wth a 3 days plan for 1- Zumba 2- Meditation 3- writing and 4- reading for leisure.

I always say to my critics, “give me a balanced system only then ask me to hold a balanced opinion on gender”. Some people have absolutely no idea that having a balanced/neutral view is to support to the oppressor.

My backyard is blooming after the rain. So proud of the hanging capsicums. The eggplants are a bit shy. Cherry tomatoes want to show off & the cucumbers are in the race 🥒
