The solar wind environment is enhanced (Bt > 10 nT; Bz +/- 15 nT with sustained intervals), and mid-latitude aurora could be possible tonight if similar conditions continue. The northern tier of the U.S. may see auroral displays tonight with brief showings down to the central U.S. during substorms.

A win! The Institute of Museum and Library Services (the federal agency that supports the nation’s libraries) has reinstated thousands of grants that had been canceled by the Trump administration, after a federal judge ruled the executive order mandating those cuts was unlawful.

The glow of cities can still be seen shining through the clouds, while the light from the full moon is cast upon the nearby snowy mountains of the Sierra Nevada.

There is blood on the hands of Donald Trump, RFK, and every Republican who has allowed this sham to go on for far too long. When kids die unnecessarily and once-eradicated diseases darken the doors of terrified families and pediatricians, Americans will know who is responsible.
Breaking: After contentious debates and three failed attempts at a vote, a federal vaccine committee decided on Friday to end the decades-long recommendation that all newborns be immunized at birth against hepatitis B.

I approved the Carriger Solar project in Klickitat County today. It'll produce enough energy to power 32,500 homes.

Building more clean energy will provide affordable, carbon-free electricity to Washingtonians, create much needed construction jobs, boost economic development and keep our air clean.

My wife has been HIV+ for 34 years. She’s alive today b/c work of activists who destigmatized the virus, pushed medical science to adapt & find ways to treat it, & advocated for gov health programs that helped fund her care. The current U.S. regime may want to go back in time, but we won’t let them.
