Much appreciated. The Mac app is compiled for Intel chips, so knowing how people are faring with running it on Apple Silicon would already provide useful (lowercase) intel.

Our app is quite simple feature-wise, but if all you need is a "code and retrieve" functionality for transcripts, try it out. We appreciate feedback - after all, open source should be co-creation. On our website, www.requal.app, we link to other FOSS QDAS alternatives that you may wish to explore.

Please do share if you could find out something on this topic. {RQDA} used {igraph} under the hood to visualize code/categories relationships.

Requal (requal.app) is MIT licensed and runs in a browser on any platform where R (cloud.r-project.org) is installed (that includes server installation for collaborative use).

You can test our server version demo requal.app/get_started..... Alas, a self-hosted Shiny Server (posit.co/download/shi...) is needed to run Requal in server mode.

Unfortunately, we do not offer that feature yet. It is on the roadmap as in-text memos. If you have specific ideas on how this should ideally look like, please leave us a comment in the relate GitHub issue: github.com/RE-QDA/requa...
