PA State Representative (HD-29), husband, dad, first generation college graduate, grew up waiting tables, small business owner (x2), attorney for working people.
@lgaustindavis.bsky.social's stirring speech at Bucks County NAACP's annual banquet asked us to remember that progress in the ways we deliver justice are too important to wait. Gratitude to the award recipients, and to the Bucks County NAACP for their outstanding work over the years.

Yesterday we remembered former state Rep. EJ Lucyk, who I was able to proudly call my friend. For more than 20 years he served our Commonwealth in the #PAHouse, making Pennsylvania a better place for all. Thank you EJ for your service and example. #RIP youtu.be/UdUCjC1v_bU

Today marks seven years since the horrific shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh — an act of antisemitic hatred that took the lives of eleven people. Remembering those who were killed and their loved ones is imperative to support the healing of their communities.

My team and I had a wonderful time observing Diwali with the Desis of Doylestown at their 5th Annual Diwali Celebration! The Desis always invites the entire community -- people of all ages, backgrounds, identities, and abilities -- to take part in this joyful festival of lights.

I joined fellow Bucks reps & our constituents to urge state Senators to listen to Pennsylvanians who rely on public transit like SEPTA—not party leaders in Harrisburg. Withholding vital services from workers, seniors, veterans, & people w/ disabilities is neglect.

The Trump admin removed the 988 crisis hotline's "press 3" option tailored to LGBTQ+ youth.

But our Bucks County neighbors are responding to this attempt at dividing us by joining fellow Americans across the country, renewing our love and support for young people in the LGBTQ+ community.

Juneteenth is a powerful reminder of what freedom means in America. It marks a pivotal moment in our history and honors the resilience of generations of black Americans who endured so much to claim their liberation. It's also a day to reflect on how our work to pursue equality still continues.
