I ran into a pair of blue-gray gnatcatchers that seemed even angrier than usual. Made sense when I spotted their nest well hidden above me! 🪶

Cotton mouth for #snakesunday. I am very fortunate to live close to the Shawnee National Forest, where there is a major snake migration site every fall and spring (aptly named Snake Rd!)
