Capitalism was once the cutting edge of societal organization, but now it is holding us back. Obviously it is not the most inefficient system that exists, but that does not mean it is the best we can do. We should not be afraid to build something better.

My favorite liberal conspiracy theory is that Trump is somehow controlled or working on behalf of Russia and China when he's just doing what US imperialism has always done, but working with the wing of capitalists who want to move to a transactional system and remove previous rules-based constraints

saw someone say the next dem administration should learn from trump & simply enact their agenda without thought to norms or procedure, & i hate to break it to that person but the dems already do exactly what they want with power. they don't try to do things & fail, they try to do nothing & succeed

I’m very young and started paying attention to politics around the 2020 election but honestly the 2016 election seems to be the canon event which has defined the politics of the era for the last 10 years.
