The federal shutdown is hurting our neighbors. Starting Nov. 1, more than 2 million Pennsylvanians could lose access to SNAP benefits, threatening food security for families and seniors.

This isn’t politics, it’s people’s lives. My office is here to help.

Thank you @repmcclinton.com for sharing the Speaker’s rostrum during yesterday’s session. Always an honor to serve as Speaker Pro Tempore & help guide meaningful work in the PA House.

PA’s housing crisis demands action—aging infrastructure, rising costs, and too few affordable options. That’s why I helped launch the first-ever bipartisan Housing Caucus to advance commonsense solutions for families across the Commonwealth.

House Dems passed real transit funding—sustainable, recurring, no new taxes, and $600M for roads/bridges. Senate Rs blocked it. Thanks to Gov. Shapiro & PennDOT, PRT got a $106.7M stopgap to avoid cuts & fare hikes, but without long-term funding, riders stay at risk.

Today we remember the lives lost on 9/11 and honor the first responders, firefighters, and service members who ran toward danger to keep us safe.

Too many still face broken systems when they need care. We must do better—for our first responders, and for one another.

The PA House just passed our bill to fund home repairs for low-income homeowners, including seniors and folks with disabilities—building on the success of the Whole Home Repairs program. Over 18,000 applicants are still waiting.

Next stop: the Senate.

Had the joy of meeting Sam—a kind & hilarious kid whose family found support at the Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center. From medical care to foster & adoption services, they’re a lifeline for families. I’ll keep fighting for the resources they deserve.

I stand in solidarity with workers at Allegheny Reproductive Health Center!

When reproductive rights are under constant attack, the strongest way to protect this care is by standing up for the people who provide it.

The signs say it all: support Pennsylvania workers and stand up for labor rights.

Donald Trump is targeting the NLRB. At a time when union busters hold power at the top, we don’t have time to waste. This May Day, and every day, we must stand with Pennsylvania workers.

In this post-Roe era, the chaotic mix of laws, politics, and control over our bodies has become a dangerous mess—one that’s costing people their rights, and in some cases, their lives. We must remain committed to the fight for reproductive freedom. It's fight for all.

Pennsylvania is setting the standard for ethical AI in state government. Under @governorshapiro.bsky.social’s leadership, we’re improving the efficiency of operations while ensuring workers remain central to our progress. I'm proud to support responsible, people-first innovation.

Pennsylvania is in a housing crisis—impacting cities & small towns alike. That’s why we launched the Housing Caucus: a bipartisan (and soon-to-be bicameral!) group fighting for zoning reform & dignified housing access. It’s time to open doors for every Pennsylvanian🏡

From mental health initiatives in schools to AI regulation, reproductive justice, and more—the next generation isn’t waiting to lead.

Last week, I got to sit down with some of these inspiring young leaders and celebrate their work. I can tell the future is in good hands.

Not all rewarding careers require a four-year degree—skills, passion & hands-on experience pave the way.

Last week, my colleagues and I toured A.W. Beattie Career Center to see how state funds support future carpenters, chefs & mechanics. Proud to back these vital trades!

Stalkers are using tracking devices like AirTags to follow victims without consent. My bill would make it illegal to use these devices for stalking in PA. It's time to close this loophole and protect Pennsylvanians.

Supporting our local fire and EMS teams means ensuring they have the resources to do their jobs safely and effectively. This week, several companies in our district received grants to upgrade equipment and strengthen emergency response.

Black History Month is here, and I want to take a moment to honor the endless contributions Black Americans have given to shape the fabric of our nation.

Special shoutout to my fellow PA Black elected officials—thank you for being much-needed changemakers.

let's just say… if the Pennsylvania State House was the Krusty Krab… the Property Tax & Rent Rebate is like our Krabby Patty. 🍔

*Applicants must be at least 65 years old, the spouse of a deceased person, or an adult with disabilities.

HMU for help applying!

Grateful to Congressman @deluzio.house.gov for taking the time to meet and discuss the issues that matter most to our region. Strong partnerships like these are essential to delivering real results for the people of Pennsylvania.

I’m excited to share my 2025-2026 committee assignments!

These committees align with our district’s priorities, and I look forward to advancing legislation to improve housing, transportation, local businesses, and protections for seniors.

Let's get to work! 💪🏾
