This bill has everything that Senate Republicans have been demanding to move transit funding. This isn’t about dollars & cents, this is about the hardworking people of Pennsylvania – it’s about the parents who use SEPTA to get to their jobs, and their kids who use public transit to get to school.

Once again, the #PAHouse has passed a mass transit funding package that would prevent unnecessary service cuts and also includes many of the initiatives that the #PASenate has demanded but has yet to act on. Time is up! Tell your senator to vote for mass transit funding now!

The House Transportation Committee showed up to work, did our job and voted to fund SEPTA 7 times while the Senate Republicans refuse to act on it – holding riders livelihoods hostage for political games.

On August 24th, the bus I used to ride for school will shut down because SEPTA is out of money! That’s why we passed a bipartisan bill that includes oversight demanded by Senate Republicans. We are out of time, SEPTA is running out of money & now the Senate has no more excuses.
