Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Greater Family Health’s Palatine Health Center and tour their expanded facility. It was great to meet with their team and learn more about the comprehensive services they provide as a Federally Qualified Health Center.

Last week, we filed Marin’s Law. This bill is named after Marin Lacson, a wonderful and bright Barrington High School student who was tragically killed while walking to school at a railroad crossing without pedestrian gates.

I had a great time visiting Lincoln Elementary School and seeing the Parent Mentor Program in action. I have heard so many great things about the program in Springfield and being able to see firsthand how beneficial this program is for students, parents, and teachers was great.

Our office is partnering with the Cook County Board of Review, the Palatine Township, and local elected officials to host an in-person property tax appeal assistance event to help residents understand their bill, get questions answered, and submit completed appeals.
