Proudly Representing California's 12th Congressional District.
@agrobbonta.oag.ca.gov filed a restraining order against the federal government to protect against revocation of November benefits.

I’m proud to join Rep. Larson in introducing a resolution that would create a simple change in House rules that allows for a majority of Members to force the House to reconvene. It's past time for House Republicans to clock in and get back to work. (2/2)

Remember the airport impacts, SNAP benefits being withheld, health care premium increases— they’re all a CHOICE. Republicans are forcing Americans into hardship instead of coming to the table to negotiate. (3/3)

These are people fleeing persecution & violence; in turning them away we betray our values and trample on our long-standing humanitarian commitments. The Admin. must immediately raise the cap, restore our moral leadership, & recommit to a refugee system rooted in compassion, not discrimination.(2/2)

…Our elders fought and bled for our Voting Rights. Your vote is your voice – and everyone should exercise their right to vote today. Make sure your vote-by-mail ballot is postmarked by today or dropped off at a drop box by 8pm PT! (2/2)

We'll provide updates and resources for constituents affected by the Republican government shutdown and discuss Alameda County's efforts to support access to nutrition programs like SNAP as uncertainty over November SNAP benefits persists.

If you are in need of food assistance during this shutdown please reach out to @accfb.bsky.social or call 211 to get connected with services in your area. (4/4)

In the meantime, We have some incredible organizations and resources in the East Bay, including the Alameda County Community Food Bank which just recieved a portion of a $10 million+ infusion that the Board of Supervisors approved last week. (3/4)

The administration has stated that they will only PARTIALLY fund SNAP through the MIDDLE of November, with no indication of when this funding will actually hit people's accounts. (2/4)
