Trump says he supports the House vote to release the Epstein files. That’s odd because he has the authority to just release them all RIGHT NOW. Why isn’t he?

If you can't stand on facts and science, you don't belong anywhere near the Department of Health and Human Services. RFK Jr. has got to go.

My casework team has been hard at work for the people of Oregon's Third District. I am excited to share that we have helped constituents recover more than half a million dollars owed to them by the federal government.

Oregonians deserve more than the status quo—they deserve a government that is obsessed with serving working families. That’s how I am approaching my work in Congress.

After seven weeks of obstruction, Congresswoman Grijalva was sworn into office as the newest member of Congress! She will be a fierce fighter for the people of Arizona.
November 13, 2025 at 11:53 PM
Speaker Mike Johnson kept the House on vacation for WEEKS to avoid swearing in Congresswoman Grijalva, all because her signature would have forced a vote to release the Epstein files. Today she was finally sworn in.

After a 54-day paid vacation, House Republicans are finally back at work.

It’s devastating that they are back just to rubber-stamp a funding deal that does nothing to make healthcare more affordable for working families.
November 12, 2025 at 8:43 PM
I’m in the House Rules Committee to testify against the Senate’s broken deal to reopen the government. We need a funding agreement that protects healthcare, not one that betrays working families. House Democrats are holding the line.
November 12, 2025 at 3:06 AM
The ‘deal’ that passed out of the Senate last night was an insult to the American people. I’m headed back to DC to hold the line for your healthcare.
November 11, 2025 at 5:26 PM
The Senate needs to hold the line for a government funding deal that protects healthcare and lowers costs. Not one that sells out the American people.
November 10, 2025 at 7:04 PM
Calling what’s coming out of the Senate a ‘deal’ is an insult. It’s caving on millions of people’s healthcare, putting a bow on it, and calling it compromise.

The rule of law has been upheld, not the whims of a wannabe king. Today a federal judge issued a permanent injunction against the National Guard being deployed in Portland. This affirms what we’ve always known: Portland is home. Not a military target.

I caught up with Attorney General Dan Rayfield in DC after his team argued against Trump’s illegal tariffs at the Supreme Court. He breaks down what’s at stake in the case and where we go from here.

Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi often reminded House members that our job title and description are the same: representative. Since 1987, Nancy Pelosi embodied that truth as a brilliant and accomplished representative for the people of San Francisco and for our nation.
November 6, 2025 at 5:35 PM
House Democrats believe that in the richest country in the world, no one should go hungry. Trump clearly doesn't share that value.
November 6, 2025 at 3:37 PM
Today, Attorney General Dan Rayfield's team went before the Supreme Court to fight Trump's lawless tariffs. Their fight is our fight. Oregon is showing up to defend working people and the Constitution.

I’m grateful for all the hard work community partners, like the Reynolds Middle School Food Pantry, are doing to keep Oregonians fed. It shouldn’t have to be this way—but I’m thankful to our resilient community for stepping up.
November 4, 2025 at 7:39 PM
On my way back to DC to make sure we reopen the government with a deal that protects healthcare and reins in Trump’s lawlessness.

Trump is driving out nurses who don't look like him. Last month, Jose, a registered nurse in my district, shared with me that his family is leaving the country because they no longer feel safe.

Racial profiling is wrong. Period.
November 3, 2025 at 10:41 PM
Jose is a nurse in my district—at least for now. He is moving his family out of the U.S. because he no longer feels safe raising his children in the country that gave him and his courageous mother the promise of a better life.

Our democracy is under attack. To protect it, we need to show up. My next in-person town hall is ONE WEEK AWAY, on Saturday, November 8. I hope to see you there.

Today I met with community members who depend on SNAP to put food on the table.

Food should never be used as political leverage. I'm grateful today that courts acknowledged what we have been saying all along—it's illegal for Trump to withhold November SNAP funding.

Here’s a bit of hope. After being wrongfully detained by ICE at gunpoint, Napolean Magaña is home. His family sent my team this video late last night, just hours after I met with him at the NW Detention Center.

Public pressure works.
October 31, 2025 at 6:40 PM
Trump is obstructing congressional oversight to hide his cruelty.

Public pressure is our power. I’m urging Oregonians to document what they see as ICE activity increases in our communities. Reach out to the PIRC hotline (1-888-622-1510) if you see ICE in your neighborhood.
October 30, 2025 at 11:36 PM
Hunger is a policy choice. Trump is choosing to use the shutdown as cover to let kids and families go hungry. It's un-American.

Our community is working to fill the gaps left in the wake of his cruelty.
