And before everyone blames Maxis for this issue (again), this has a lot do do with Windows and not the game. Virus protection protects you from malware but it also blocks legit files from working properly. That's what happened here. The game had no write access to my user folder.

Last week I tested SO MANY nonupdated #TheSims4 script mods for the EA Forums Broken Mods list, to find causes of broken household loading. I don't have time for extensive testing for the next few weeks, but I'm open to info re. mods YOU isolated, especially older mods. No 18+ mods, please.
