I’ve gone through a few versions of each tool and stage, and I’m tagging the ones I’ve settled on for now, which I’m feeling will last and bring joy for at least my lifetime. (which, all evidence suggests, is the length of time it will take me to get even halfway decent at latte art)

Downstairs neighbor said they could hear the vibrations from the espresso machine, so I moved the table over the garage instead, put down a layer of vibration isolating sorbothane, then a layer of food-grade silicon, then bar mats. I’m eager to see how much it helps. Anyone else try to solve this?
