this means that, holding the book at the bottom, the text stands up higher in front of you. This reduces neck strain as you have to look down less. A further development of this idea: half of each page is upside down, so you turn the book around instead of having to crane your neck down

today i read King Oedipus. Partially the good translation no doubt but it actually is a very exciting, sort of snappy tale. Also my copy is one that had been written in by at least 5(?) different people, 2 of whom contemporaries using it to write notes to each other eg abt 1986 film 'legend'??
