Family of 1, facing what I calculate will be a $12,000-$16,000 increase per year. And should have been close to qualifying for PSLF, but paperwork disappeared into the black ether at Mohela. It's a pretty hopeless situation for so many of us.

And literally some of these words are *required* in NIH application attachments. This makes me want to stab my eyeballs out!

How are we supposed to avoid mentioning inclusion/exclusion criteria in human subjects research? Statistical bias? Barriers and facilitators in implementation research? These terms have diverse meanings (see what I did there?) that having absolutely nothing to do with the EO!

You know your work better than anyone else. Use this as an opportunity to share your excitement about what you've learned with others rather than thinking of this as needing to justify what you've done. This mindset helped me approach my defense last summer with confidence rather than trepidation!
