Look at my brand new beautiful hardcovers of the Finder Chronicles by Suzanne Palmer. They’re perfect. 😍

Why is it so NOISY? I don't even CARE that much, because I already have the book preordered.

I have finished fiction (favorite shelves and TBR shelf) and can now move on to nonfiction. I did not anticipate the scope of this project 😅

This map is wild; the big population centers are not a surprise, but the dots with no city names? Those are hella conservative areas. I would also not call Fort Smith or Jonesboro bastions of progressive thought. But they had rallies. Remember: this is only REGISTERED events.

I tore my office apart so I could rearrange my books and have more cohesive shelving. This seemed like a great idea except now I have to do the work.

My collection is complete, but I do not understand why publishers cannot make things MATCH. I am IN PAIN.

My Friends of the Library chapter switched to a membership pin model. But it turns out I’m very bad at selling pins.

(They’re $25 and get people early access to our annual book sale. And hopefully other stuff as we expand the program!)

Y’all, I spent the morning organizing a new arrivals and volunteer recs shelf for the Friends of the Library book shop! It’s looking so great already but there are plans to add purple vinyl to the shelves, shelf labels, and a big poster with info about our org that will be displayed along the side

Okay, I need more people to read and write about this novel. It’s shorter than The Raven Scholar, the other epic fantasy I’ve reccing! I would love to read a whole essay about this book as a piece of climate fiction, too.

I’m rereading The Witch Roads by Kate Elliott to take notes for an interview. Have you read this yet? 👀
