AI, you suck!

(Trying to find the chords, but I guess I'll have to take the standard chords and transpose them to Patti's key)

Happy William Blake Day!
There's more than a drop of Blake in this drawing I did of Ullr, the Nordic frost god.

Though a really bad sound mix & quality (sounded better in real), here's a smidge of "Black is the Colour".
Balancing my lyrics on my knee wasn't very helpful either.
(With my hairs that short, I look disturbingly like my dad did!)

Open Mic in the Bullhouse...
I did some songs too- I stumbled on a slower rhythm for Black is the Colour, but it hurt it none.

#PortfolioDay apparently...
Not a lot done over the last years, except for the work for @newedgeswordmag.bsky.social (I can't WAIT to show you the latest!)
Oh, and some for a poetry collection (can't WAIT etc), and these, based on old family photos...

This is a reminder to self and others...

This is nice! Belfast has a trans skaters & boarders group ("reclaiming space that's not clubs and pubs"). The black tea they brought was very welcome!...

In an alternative universe, he already did! ;-)

Brandy has a fetish for my running shoes!. Could it be that my sweaty feet smell like catnip?...

Just short of 12k today, in an hour's run...
It's true what they say: after 10K it doesn't get much worse. I do love how running unlocks different parts of the city.

A movie that takes place where you're from....

I thoroughly disliked it, for its stereotype rendering of the northern Dutch farmer - as played by an actor from the south (!)...

One of the drawbacks of falling out with someone is that it's bye-bye to the DVDs you lent them... (I'd wanted to watch the Hutchinson "Wuthering Heights", but it'll have to be the one with Tom Hardy then)...

...The unsung hero of the afternoon undoubtedly was Erin, who made us all sound great!...

Lovely afternoon at Templemore Bath, playing one of the 30 min slots for punters at the CS Lewis Festival craft fair...
I bought some early Christmas presents, hung out with pals and enjoyed their music too!

My grandparents' house was also destroyed. Accidentally, but not less devastatingly - another one for the family traumas!...

I was to the library a ways up the Greenway, where there was storytelling with harp accompaniment. It was really nice, and possibly useful for future performances of my own (notes were taken).

...I mean, unless I count myself...

Hijacking CS Lewis Festival's flyer? Sure, why not!
If you're in the neighbourhood, do pop by - I'd love to see some friendly faces!

Temperature dropped to 3°C, so this afternoon's run definitely was of the 'let's get the bare minimum over with, and not stray too far from home' variety.

What is your favourite film that never happened, but should have?...
November 18, 2025 at 11:30 PM
Also awesome: the Fleischer Brothers' animation inspired by C.L. Moore's Jirel of Joiry stories. It was an early victim of the Hays Code, and is now considered lost.

...Still a film I wish existed!
If you've seen Gance's "Napoleon", you can imagine what it'd be like!

"Nelly, I am Heathcliff!"
Unreliable Narrator would have to do some overtime, but how about a reimagining of "Wuthering Heights" in which Cathy indeed is Heathcliff?
