Now imagine you have this box that can only install applications allowed by the manufacturer. And you have to go through the cloud for it, every single time... Oh wait, that's an iPhone. (inb4 Bambu Lab mandates the same thing)
Imagine if HP said you had to install an HP app on your computer, and every time you wanted to print a document in Microsoft Word, you had to have Word transfer that document to the HP app, then the HP app would be the only thing allowed to actually send the print job off.
