This, from the Resolution Foundation, which Reeves has accepted, is garbage. The pensioner in the example will NOT be better off next year. Reeves' new tax will leave an increase that will not even cover most pensioner's council tax and water bill increases, let alone higher food and heat costs etc.

Is this any surprise with a government copying Reform, and Starmer talking about the UK being "an island of strangers"?

I don't know of a site, but there is a book called "ABC the first name in entertainment" by Allen Eyles which covers the history of the circuit, and has an appendix of films shown in the circuit from 1937 - 1979 with quite a few (but not all) of the double bills listed. Sample page :

Starmer's Labour is xenophobic, and their visa policies could mean the end of the NHS.
How low so called "Labour" has sunk.

When so called "Labour" say they really like Trump and his values, believe them.

Rachel Reeves Translation:
"I agree with Tory austerity.
It is NOT right for billionaires, Corporations, and the wealthy to pay an appropriate level of tax.
I love bashing pensioners, the poor, disabled, WASPI women, 16-24 yr olds, and the working class".

I saw the production in its first run in June 1980. It was the most enjoyable and involving production I have ever seen in the theatre, in part because of John Napier's brilliant design, bringing the stage out into the audience, and the thrilling synergy between company and audience.

A clutch of contemporary reviews of 'Nicholas Nickleby' follows, from Bernard Levin's glowing review, to Michael Billington's curmudgeonly one.
"It should be acknowledged that the present RSC is a national treasure" (Ned Chaillet).

Kier Starmer and Labour have gone full Enoch Powell racist, but it's not fascist enough for the Daily Heil (the paper that supported Adolf Hitler and Moseley's Blackshirts).

Goodness, keep this news about child labour exploitation from sadistic Rachel Reeves and the Fake Labour government. Next, they will have children up the chimneys and down the mines again.
