Eight years ago, Senator Booker spoke to a group of activists from various organizations. His powerful words moved me to tears. Today he stood up and spoke for all of us again…for 24 hours. Proud to have this picture with him.

These guys wouldn’t feel any pain if we shifted a pittance of their billions (which they made off the rest of us!) to take care of people. We’d be a stronger, smarter, healthier, happy nation. Why is this controversial?

Tin Can Knits has a basic pattern—what’s cool is their app, where you can plug in the size you want to make and the yarn weight you’re using, and it will customize the pattern. I did kid size ones, a fingerless adult size (did ribbing instead of decreases), and giant ones with super bulky yarn.
