Religion is politics of the unknown ☁️
The things you are liable to read 📖
in the Bible ain’t necessarily so 🔍
It’s a recipe for extremism 🇺🇸
A playbook for tyrants ✝️⚛️
I know we can do better✌️💙☮️

Should we be thankful for Jurassic Park?

Should we be thankful for corner-cutting CEOs who gamble with people’s lives while saying they spared no expense?

Should we give them tax breaks?

Should we praise a CEO in heaven?

Or should we trust scientists who say climate change is our responsibility?

What could be crueler than to take someone’s last moments and fill them with anxiety about a fate worse than death?

Only the fate itself

The God in Christianity is even crueler than his believers are

And however kind or cruel they may be, they are always trying to be more like him

Preachers of Christianity claim credit for the idea that all lives matter

Actually Christianity teaches that some lives matter more than others and God is mysteriously sorting us out

They call this good news

Either they call this good news or else the gospel they preach is better

Should we be thankful for comparative religion?

Should we be thankful for critical scholarship?

Should we fund social sciences?

Jesus Christ is always presented as a prince of peace

The Prince of Peace said he was coming back with a sword in his mouth to throw everyone who doesn’t honor him in a lake of fire

Do you think he would be satisfied with a Nobel Peace Prize?

Or does he insist every knee shall bow?

The preconceived image of Richard Dawkins as renaissance dooms renaissance as such to stillbirth

In his enlightened world no woman will be able to turn down a man in an elevator without risking her career over it

There’s a reason Lawrence Krauss is in the PDFiles & there’s a reason they’re friends

His pastors have been lying to him

Every one of them preaches salvation by grace through faith alone every week

And they all believe the evidence of faith is victory

There’s not a thing he can do in their eyes to win or lose salvation except win or lose elections

Two terms deep into an imperial presidency and people still don’t get that the messianic complex was a trap all along

Should we be thankful for fossils?

Should we be thankful for paleontology?

Should we be thankful for extinction?

Should we give students aid to become scientists?

It’s the most wonderful time of the year

What is the reason for the season?

Does the romance naturally arise from the solstice & the circle of life?

Or does it depend on the unnatural hope of eternal happiness & the fear of eternal suffering?

32 days of Robert G. Ingersoll’s ‘Christmas Sermon’

Should we be thankful for eye correction?

Should we search the scriptures?

Should we be thankful they misled us for so long?

Should we be thankful for the freedom to doubt?

Should we be thankful for the scientific method?

Do we get it from the scriptures or do we get it from doubt?

This was the logical tragic result of RFK jr’s bird flu policy

Joe Biden’s support for Ukraine was to find out what they needed & give them half

If he’d given them what they asked for they could have won by now

He was happy to get credit for supporting allies but his full support went to allies that were colonizing rather than colonized

Stop colonizing

An unintended consequence of the Big Beautiful Bill is that pastors all over the country don’t know how much their health insurance is going to cost and their congregations will have to vote on it

I wonder how many would be willing to take the cost-share program that’s advertised in their church

I’ve heard that the Koran says the whole universe has no corners at all

Certainly that is better than anything in the Old or New Testament or the Book of Mormon

I’ve heard that Hinduism predicted the age of the earth as 4.32 billion years

which was about 95% right & has been for about 6 millennia

In October 2015 30-some percent of Americans believed Hillary Clinton trafficked children to order for abuse

even while she was Secretary of State

And her opponent actually did that

He was still elected twice even after bragging on tape about people having to let him do whatever he wanted to them

As long as people still believe this 💩 billions of dollars will go missing

Every US Christian who has ever called the prophet Mohammed a PDFile now knows for an absolute certainty that President Trump would have found it a great honor to meet him

He will preach a sermon from Esther or Judges

He will say a godly woman is always able to do a man’s job until a godly man is able to take it from her

And he depends on the support of men who would rather have slaves than partners
November 21, 2025 at 7:42 PM
Undoubtedly he really believes God made Adam first and then Eve

Are we thankful for mortality?

Are we thankful for our health care?

Are we blessed by expectations of living happily ever after?

Are we cursed by phobias of fates worse than death?
November 21, 2025 at 2:39 PM
Of course masked secret police will destroy evidence of their crimes against humanity

No, gulags are what he has to stop doing when he loses

It’s true that all men supported president dump to the extent that they would rather have a slave than a free partner
