That's pretty close to what I do. Spicing is usually either rosemary and garlic or a ton of cumin and 1-2 dried chilis.

Recipe? (Braised chicken thighs are one of my staples. I have my own recipe, which is more of a formula, since it varies depending on what's in the fridge.)
