The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Our problem isn't a lack of resources.

Our problem is ever-expanding inequality.

US announces NATO policy changes???
Reduced Eastern Flank Assistance (September 19-20, 2025) The Pentagon notified allies of a partial halt to military aid for Russia-bordering states, including cutting ~$200-220 million from the Baltic Security Initiative and delaying Patriot/NASAMS deliveries.

The Democrats are going to lose big if they vote against the CR. Don't do it! Be smart—it is a trap. US voters will blame the Democrats for the shutdown. Fight the battle when you have the high ground.

Rodeo Austin is right around the corner! It's been rockin' & rollin' since 1938 and is one of the city's biggest tourism draws. Kids all over the state raise livestock in hopes of winning Grand Champion. I got to meet one of them and share her story citylifestyle.com/articles/rea...

Check it out!

Trump’s “drill baby drill” is a worthless energy policy. The recent attempt to hold an oil lease sale in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) in January 2025 resulted in NO BIDS from oil companies.
ANWR oil lease sale draws no bids
That's the second Trump-ordered Arctic sale that has gone bust.

One desert always makes a bad day better; two deserts make it a great day. Bread pudding with Rum sauce, vanilla bean ice cream, and a side of peanut butter pie with lots of whipped cream. Yes, this is excessive and messy, but it has been a tough week.

As a child, I witnessed instances of racism and injustice that deeply affected me. It was disheartening to see that so many in society accepted racial inequalities as a normal part of life, often overlooking the pain and struggles that accompanied these injustices.

My Apple account has been severed for several days and after many Apple timeouts, I am finally back online. It is scary how dependent we are on our phones and apps. I am trying to back up everything, just in case. Hello 2025

The oilfield industry involves physically demanding jobs. Roustabouts, deckhands, and heavy equipment operators are 20% immigrants who lack proper work documents. When a well goes down, there will be a significant shortage of experienced workers to get a well back up. Higher prices?? Probably

Our country's selective political accountability undermines the principles of justice and perpetuates a culture of impunity that threatens the very fabric of our democracy. Sad and wrong.

The media in America has significantly lowered its standards and set a unique set of rules for Donald Trump. Meanwhile, the Republicans, in a massive display of hypocrisy, refuse to hold the former president accountable for numerous infractions. Sad and wrong

As I work to calm my anxieties about the possibility of Trump being president for another four years, I find comfort in the fact that I survived a childhood during which I was told that Sugar Frosted Flakes and Pop Tarts were part of a healthy breakfast. We will survive and be stronger for it.

I am determined to recover from the shock and anguish of Trump winning another four years. It's time to forge ahead. I will continue to actively pursue my personal bucket list while staying firmly committed to supporting “productive” progressive causes and fighting for a better America.
