Its still Islamophobia if they suddenly now decide they don't want a religious mayor.

Said Fuck You to both a disgraced ex governor and a disgraced soon-to-be ex mayor today. Looking forward to never hearing from them again 🤞🏽

Two weeks left! Come to King Manor (the best historic house museum in NYC) to see my handmade paper reliefs that bring history to life.

NYC to Andrew Cuomo:

There are many valuable pointers secreted in the video though 😁

I wondered if the General Assembly was still going on, but this explains it. Why are they allowed to disturb people in three counties 😡

My exhibition "Touch Jamaica" continues through October 31. Regular hours are Tuesday through Saturday 12-4, but King Manor Museum is open today for the last day of a special exhibition of an original print of the Constitution. (Still relevant, but for how long?! 😭)

Happening soon! If in NYC, please join me Saturday September 6 at @kingmanormuseum where I'll be sharing a selection of handmade paper relief sculptures, all cast from surfaces representing different time periods in local history.

So it's not just me? 😄

Everyone hates that paramilitaries are spreading through our communities and attacking our neighbors, and this is the mailer that serial groper Andrew Cuomo thinks will help get him elected 🙄🙄🙄

Hope I'll get to read what you're working on! (I came across an essay of yours while sorting books for HSI, and put that one aside to keep for myself)

Found a bunch more books to donate to Haitian Studies Institute tucked away here & there all over the apartment. So much has been written about Toussaint L'Ouverture!

The relief that I cast from an oak tree a few weeks ago needed a lot of curation and reinforcement (thanks gale force winds! 💨🥲)
(This is part of my project to examine local history by using handmade paper to cast surfaces & structures in the neighborhood.)

Got a laugh while going through my late husband's papers. (I'm not sure who MJR is but I'd love to know why they think Lionel is a jerk.)
Also found a fax cover letter addressed to my own cousin when she was a member of the Haitian student org in college.

#NYC friends: I’ll be in Brooklyn on Saturday making recycled paper with people at this Car Free #EarthDay event. Join me if you’re in the area & learn to make your own paper for writing, art, or craft projects.

Tried to look up how many participation trophies he's given himself this quarter, but instead found this perfect headline from that *woke* news outlet: USA Today 😁

I'm doing this fun event next Tuesday where (weather permitting 🤞🏽) we'll be casting a Houston Conwill sculpture on the campus of CUNY/York College. If you're in SE Queens #NYC at lunch time you can join us, and (bonus!) see more work from their fabulous art collection.

Well the branch manager rejected my request to cast a section of the library's facade. I'm very aggrieved. But also: their loss! I have permission to put wet paper on much more important public art than theirs, not sure why they (book people!) thought paper would hurt their bronze relief 🤷🏾‍♀️

NYC mayor Officer Adams is outraged that anyone would suggest there's a quid pro quo going on, meanwhile the "Border Czar" confirms it on national TV. What more evidence of corruption does Governor Hochul need to remove Adams from office?

The facilities department at the local CUNY campus is getting ready to paint the ceiling in this atrium and no one in charge has bothered to protect this #FrankStella relief sculpture 👀👀👀
