I'm hoping next year is one where I have the ability to invest more into friendships new and old.

Being a dad is one of the most joyful experiences I've ever had, but it is also one of the most isolating as my schedule has shifted around and no longer fits well with most of my friends. It's also exhausting, especially if you don't really have a good community around you.

And my character found a single person who actually remembered him, and began rebuilding the friendships he had with his fellow party members.

And then teamed up with them to stop a cult that had mind controlled someone important to the party, which the party petrified to keep them from doing anything until we could kill the cult leader (turns out it was mind flayers). That's where things end. We stopped the end of the world twice.

My character made a deal with an unknown entity from the far realms to stop the demon lords from invading the land and the memory of him was erased from everyone in existence. No one remembered who he was, including his fellow party members. Managed to convince his party that something was going on.

Like, vampire survivors and balatro went *mega popular* and those teams wanting to collab with other indie devs feels very much like they want to pay it forward to those around them, so to speak.

I can be a bit more forgiving on the intentions, as it generally comes from "Hey, here's another game we think is rad. We want to do something together so that both of our audiences are exposed to another game we think is rad." Instead of thr corporate "how do we make our game mass marketable"
