BUT. These changes occurred in different parts of the genome: regions with high epigenetic change had low genetic change. However, the underlying "why" for this pattern we still don't know. Lots more work to be done!

We used 25 generations of experimental evolution to global change conditions in the copepod Acartia tonsa and found consistent genomic and epigenomic shifts within and between treatments.

Well we aren’t legally allowed to strike. So I would be fired. And I’m a scientist and my work isn’t public facing. So I’m not sure the effect this would have.

Yep. Good to check for sex chromosomes, inversions, etc. I think a nice thing to check generally.
