What is NOT being said: His wife and kids ARE US citizens. They lost the living presence of their husband/father who was wisked away without notice or due process. THEY have been terribly wronged, and their lives tragically ruined by this anti-law, unjustified, separation. Is this our America now?

I'd argue with your statement, Erin. Getting into WW2 was, I understand, quite unpopular up until the attack of Pearl Harbour. That all changed and America banded together in an incredible way against the oppressors. Japan and Germany took up absolute enemy status throughout our nation.
