We are Australia's national umbrella body for refugees and people seeking protection, and the organisations and individuals who support them.
First there was one deportation of people seeking asylum to Nauru.
Then another.
Now 60 Minutes has detailed serious allegations surrounding the management of offshore detention and reception centres in Nauru.
We urgently call for a Parliamentary Inquiry into these allegations.

Maria was born and raised in a Thai refugee camp after her parents fled Myanmar. They settled in Australia in 2019. Over the years, the community Maria’s built here has been a pillar for her.
