The areas that Cuomo won were those that had the least diversity, such as places that were overwhelmingly white (like the UES) or overwhelmingly Black (like parts of the Bronx).

People of all races who lived in more mixed and diverse neighborhoods voted for Mamdani.

Saying Mamdani was elected by higher income voters is untrue. Cuomo won voters making $150K+

Mamdani won the majority of POC due to winning Asian and Hispanic voters. He also won Black neighborhoods in Harlem, Bed-Stuy & Crown Heights

The main divide is age and college attainment, not race/income

The area north of Gaza City (also under a general displacement order) was also continuously cut off from international food aid since November 2024 and is 10km from the nearest food distribution compound below the Netzarim corridor. How can there be hundreds of thousands of people living there?
June 24, 2025 at 5:53 AM
Rafah and the area north of Gaza City are under general displacement orders and have been reduced to rubble. The only estimate I can find of Rafah's population is "a few hundred" as of April 2025. Do you have estimates that a significant number of people are living in the rubble there?

Ukraine is one of the most clear-cut examples of "aggressor vs. victim" in the 21st century, the aggressor there has been an enemy of the United States for 80 years, and Americans still think we're supporting Ukraine too much, with that number trending upward. This is Pew from February 2025.

And is there any reason to suppose that campaigning with Cheney helped win over more swing voters than it alienated? In Pennsylvania, independents were more likely to say it made them less enthusiastic than more enthusiastic.

it's kind of funny that Einstein's descendants are probably stupider than the average person.

If I wrote a brief that cited a case for a specific proposition about federal rules that was specifically abrogated by an amendment to those rules, I would be fired.

@audrelawdamercy.bsky.social I'm sorry but you have to listen to L*ndy L* getting crucified over her claim that Biden gave her free reign in the White House

I am not a stickler for this sort of thing. But when you are the Solicitor General and you are filing legal papers with the Supreme Court of the United States, you should take a second - even on an emergency motion - to ensure that what appears inside quotation marks is the actual quotation
