PASSED IN BOTH CHAMBERS: The Local Solar Access Fund directs $20 million straight to New Mexico communities most in need of the funding. We can build emergency resilient buildings across the state and help communities of all sizes build the solar projects they want.☀️

Wildfires, drought, extreme heat – New Mexicans have seen the cost of climate change in our communities. Tonight, we passed the Community Benefit Fund on the House Floor. This major investment package makes sure we aren’t just reacting, but building more resilient communities.

First responders deal with PTSD, chronic pain, and high rates of cancer. But for more than 15 years, they have been barred from using medical cannabis to treat symptoms. We’re on the way to changing that with HB230 passing the House Floor tonight.

It was great to see Santa Fe’s youngest soccer stars in the building! Our city’s youth need the room to stretch their legs, and play their hardest. Let’s finish the fields for our young athletes in supporting the Northern NM MRC Youth Soccer Expansion.

No one should have to make 10 calls to find an appointment when they need behavioral health care, and that’s the reality that we are trying to change. Senate Bill 1 provides a sustainable, long-term funding source so we can meet New Mexicans’ needs today, and for many years to come.
