If you’re not starting the year by explicitly teaching procedures, don’t be surprised when things fall apart.

I’ve been working on gamification of my lessons. Using the same content I normally use but adding a superhero flair. It’s got me really excited to start this new year. Year 25 will be EPIC! #gamification #math

Finished up year 24. It truly is shocking to me that I’ve been doing it this long! It’s a testament to picking the right job because it feels like year 5. Now time for a restful and recharging summer.

I need to check this book out! I’m loving all the creative things AI is helping me achieve in my classroom.
My kids had a blast using #emc2learning Sundown Showdown season 1. I made some adjustments to make it fit my math curriculum and they have been so engaged! Which let’s face it is tough to get at the end of the school year! @mrmatera.bsky.social @meehanedu.bsky.social
